Pathway Group, in partnership with Serco Skills and Employability, is reflecting on its significant accomplishments under the Skills Support for Workforce (SSW) contract. The partnership has nearly fulfilled the contract’s aims and objectives, a testimony to the steadfast commitment of all involved.

The Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) is a training programme developed to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and stimulate local economies. This programme, co-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), offers no-cost training courses and qualifications to employees.

This information has guided the selection and focus of training courses, ensuring that the skills developed are both relevant and in high demand.

Under the SSW programme, Pathway Group offered a wide array of training options across multiple subject areas, tailoring the support to the local priorities and labour market intelligence. These areas included Customer Service, Leadership and Management, Healthcare, Digital Skills, and Sustainability, among others.
