In a story of perseverance and growth, Luke, our Digital Marketing Apprentice at Pathway Group, has been making waves since his transition from an IT Technician role. Luke’s journey began when he sought support through the Restart Scheme to find new opportunities. With the guidance of his Restart Adviser, David, Luke applied for a position at Pathway Group.
His determination and talent shone through during the interview process, leading to an offer to participate in a project involving creating marketing materials for the Multiply Scheme. Luke’s task required in-depth research on the program and a keen understanding of Pathway Group’s branding. Successfully navigating this challenge, Luke officially joined the Pathway Group family in February 2023.
Since then, Luke has become an integral part of our team, showcasing his skills and commitment in various capacities. From actively supporting events such as the Festival of Apprenticeships to engaging with the public, Luke has been a driving force in promoting Pathway Group’s vision to change lives through skills and work.
As part of his apprenticeship, which commenced in August 2023, Luke is on a commendable trajectory towards earning his apprenticeship stripes. His dedication extends beyond day-to-day tasks, as he has actively contributed to marketing campaigns, including the Adult Education Budget, Apprenticeships, Traineeships, and Advanced Learner Loans.
Luke’s impact reaches beyond the office walls, as he has been instrumental in events like the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards and alliance meetings. His involvement in a joint project with University College Birmingham and the Pathway Group AGM recently earned him the Innovative Apprentice Award—a testament to his creativity and dedication.
We celebrate Luke’s journey thus far and look forward to witnessing his continued growth and success at Pathway Group.
