Following the launch of our recently opened Burslem centre on the 10th October 2019, we had the privilege of having Carol Shanahan, owner of Port Vale F.C. and MP Ruth Smeeth attend to our grand opening.
Since opening our doors over a month ago, we have engaged and supported 212 learners so far, these learners are now on their way to achieving vocational qualifications within their field of choice ranging from Hospitality to Health & Social Care.
On the 26th November, our Burslem team took time out of their day to personally celebrate the accomplishments of the learners with a Winter Celebration Day.
Mark, who was one of the 19 students who completed their Hospitality & Catering Level 2 course said “When I walk through these doors, I automatically feel safe” he was successful in his course whilst studying with the Burslem team.
Rachel Wild, Burslem’s Academy Manager presented a short speed at the opening ceremony.
“I am very proud of the learners that attended our first celebration day, it is lovely to see some learners who have move onto either employment or voluntary work, following to the support and dedication of our team. It makes me immensely proud of you all succeed in life”.
