Pathway Group partners with Care Leavers Covenant to support Care Leavers with "Futures4All"
Pathway Group is proud to announce that we are partnering with Carer Leavers Covenant, empowering our Futures4All programme. This initiative is designed to support young care leavers aged 16-24 residing in the seven West London Boroughs: Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, and Hounslow.
What is the Care Leaver Covenant?
The aim of the Care Leaver Covenant, to which organisations commit, is to provide additional support for those leaving care, offering a different type of assistance and expertise from that statutorily provided by local authorities. By drawing on the resourcefulness and imagination of their staff and working environment, organisations have the potential to offer new perspectives and professional expertise, presenting care leavers with opportunities and a fresh way of thinking to help them move successfully to the next phase of their lives.
Each organisation that commits to the Care Leaver Covenant offers a support package tailored to its specific expertise. This commitment is underpinned by a specific ‘offer’, detailing what the organisation can provide. Examples of such activities include:
- Providing care leavers with opportunities to enter the workforce through work experience placements, work shadowing, internships, traineeships, and apprenticeships.
- Offering additional support such as one-to-one mentoring, pastoral support, financial guidance, career and employment advice, and educational prospects.
- Broadening horizons with concessionary access to sports, leisure, and cultural activities, along with discounted retail offers.
- Encouraging involvement in activities and events that inspire personal interest and widen employment prospects.
- Providing educational and training opportunities to improve vocational and educational profiles, opening up future employment opportunities.
At Pathway Group, our mission is to assist young individuals through innovative training and development programmes, equipping them with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in their careers and personal lives. By collaborating with local businesses, cultural institutions, and community groups, we create a robust network of support to enhance employability and enrich lives.

Our commitment is to offer comprehensive support that promotes health, well-being, and the best possible outcomes for care leavers. We undertake to develop specific initiatives to ensure care leavers are better prepared for employment and independent living, while actively promoting the Care Leaver Covenant.
“Everyone in society has a responsibility to help those who have been in care to overcome the difficulties that they experienced in their childhoods so that they can lead successful lives. Pathway Group recognises the challenges that young people face when they leave the care system and begin to live independently.
We are prepared to offer support to care leavers to improve their life chances and help them make a successful transition to adulthood.”
