Meet Graham Clarke

An experienced individual with over 25 years in and around the Education sector, primarily with Private Training Providers. Have experienced a range of roles including Tutor, Centre Manager, Operations Manager, Head of Quality, Head of Business Development and over 10 years as a Director. Have taken on more freelance roles over the last 18 months and have recently joined Pathway Group as a non-executive Director which I am really looking forward to especially working with the CEO Safaraz Ali
Additional experience has included managing large numbers of subcontractors (45+) including planning and delivering group meetings to introduce programmes (at the start) then reflect on performance on a regular basis and also share ideas to improve the service given and experiences gained for participants attending the various programmes, in my case, £30 million worth of ESF funded programmes and a large Flexible New Deal contract. Also have experience linking up and building relationships with other providers, colleges, councils and businesses to gain trust and interest in supporting and advising unemployed individuals between 16 and 65 through learning, work experience and confidence building activities. These links have been predominantly but not exclusively across, London, the South East, West and the West Midlands. Has also presented at Conferences and was the ESF national representative for a group reviewing programmes and putting forward views, concerns etc during the planning of some new ones – this included early conversations about the SPF funded provisions.
Outside of work have a strong interest in Music and Sport (Luton Town fan) and exercise regularly especially with the dog. Am also a fanatic regarding stage musicals and have been to well over 100 shows in London. Have also presented Xmas shows for 7 years when with Skills Training UK which was good fun!!
