Adult Education Budget (AEB) Partnership Opportunities
GMCA & GLA Regions
The Pathway Group is looking for organisations to support our Adult Education Budget (AEB) funding, part of the devolved procurement by Greater London Authority and Greater Manchester Combined Authority regions. The AEB is a single budget stream bringing together adult further education (all 19yrs+ provision except apprenticeships / traineeships), community learning, and discretionary learner support.
The AEB is intended to fund provision which supports the local labour market and economic development. In particular, it focuses on ensuring that adults have the core skills that they need to enter and progress in work, including a number of statutory entitlements, those being English, maths and digital skills (from 2020 onwards), as well as first level 2/3 qualifications.
As a current AEB devolution provider, we are seeking to work with a wide range of organisations that will add value and additional outcomes to our own offer. This may include local community groups and organisations that signpost customers. Employers (local & national), Employment Agencies, Freelance Tutors and Associates and Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
Pathway Group is a lead provider for the below two regions.
