Pathway Group Welcomes Former Ofsted HMI Harmesh Manghra as Executive Chair
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Harmesh Manghra as the new Executive Chair of Pathway Group, a grassroots strategic leader in skills and quality with an illustrious career spanning over two decades, including 13 years as Her Majesty’s Inspector for Ofsted, Mr. Manghra brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organisation.
In his new role, Mr. Manghra will oversee strategic initiatives and organisational development at Pathway Group. His leadership will be pivotal in expanding our impact, enhancing service delivery, and forging meaningful partnerships, all while sustaining our unwavering commitment to transforming lives through education and employment support.
'passion for quality enhancement'
Mr. Manghra’s career highlights include his recent role as a governor at Leicester College and his tenure as Director of Change and Quality Enhancement at Sandwell College from 2020 to February 2023. At Sandwell, he spearheaded initiatives that significantly improved educational quality, learner experience, and institutional performance. His efforts contributed to the college achieving several key milestones and accolades.

His proven leadership, deep understanding of the education sector, and passion for quality enhancement make him the perfect fit for this role.
