Pathway Group is now delivering Skills Support for the Workforce in the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) area. The area includes: Cherwell, Oxford, South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse and West Oxfordshire.
The Oxfordshire LEP has identified a number of occupational areas as skills priorities for the region, and these are the sectors in which Pathway is able to support businesses to develop their workforce. The Skills and employment priorities identified:
- ICT and telecommunications
- Health
- Care and development.
The Skills Support for the Workforce project is targeting employers within the Oxfordshire area that employ less than 250 staff. The project is required to increase engagement and support participation of employed adults to enhance their skills to become more successful in the labour market, advance career prospects, and reduce the risk of long term unemployment by delivering local training that meets the requirements identified by the Local Enterprise Partnership research.
We offer intermediate and higher level skills training that respond to the needs of employers, we can also assist with:
- Progression from Level 2 to Level 3
- Increase English and Maths levels
- Leadership and Management Skills
- Support fledgling business “start-ups”
- Promoting and recruiting apprenticeships
