Pathway Group Launches Support Programme for Care Providers in Staffordshire

Pathway Group has unveiled an ambitious support programme specifically designed to benefit care providers in the Staffordshire area. In partnership with Skills for Care and the Department for Education, the programme strongly emphasises continuous learning and development for care professionals.

Pathway Group recognises the pivotal role that ongoing education plays in delivering quality care. According to Skills for Care, regular learning and development are instrumental in keeping workers up to date with the best practices, ensuring exceptional care and support delivery.

Promoting Learning and Development

“Learning new skills doesn’t have to be expensive, and there are various accessible avenues for acquiring knowledge. By investing in learning and development, care providers can unlock several benefits, including delivering outstanding care, enhancing workforce competence and productivity, nurturing aspiring leaders, and improving recruitment and retention rates.”

Alan Hill, Chair at Pathway Group

The support provides comprehensive guidance to assist care providers in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning and development initiatives for their staff. The emphasis is on refreshing knowledge and skills across various topic areas, aligning with legislative changes, guidelines, statutory guidance, standards, and recommendations.
