Hello, I am Dr. Masood Butt and I am Head of Compliance and Legal Affairs at Pathway Group. I received my Graduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Trent University. There I specialised in contract, commercial, business and partnership law. During my time at Nottingham I gained experience in helping business save money on expensive litigation by finding arbitrary solutions and working with a panel of expert barristers. In 2012 I attended Birmingham City University and completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice Law. As an experienced defence lawyer I advise on business protection, employment law, contract drafting and review and issuing applications and claims in England and Wales. I also work on civil and business cases which include worldwide freezing injunctions, asset tracing and issuing applications for disclosure orders against third parties. I have an interest in trademarks, intellectual property and advising on franchising contracts and disputes.
I am a former member of the Business and Economy Committee of Muslim Council of Britain. I am a member of World Islamic Economic Foundation, Malaysia, a trainer for National Institute of Science and Technical Education, Pakistan. I am also a board member of the Federation of Pakistani Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
I currently provide in-house legal consultancy services to small and medium sized enterprises with more than £10 million turnover in areas such as regulatory compliance, vehicle safety, good transportation, food hygiene and health and safety at workplace and employment law.
