The Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS) is a DHSC-funded programme that reimburses adult social care employers in England for eligible training and qualifications. Pathway Group is an approved provider, offering LDSS-eligible qualifications.

How it works
Employers pay for training upfront, and then claim reimbursement through NHSBSA once training is:

All other LDSS-eligible courses
Pathway Group provides certificates and all supporting documentation required for claims.
when and what to claim for
Training courses: within 3 months of completion
Qualifications:
60% claim when the qualification has started and been paid for
40% claim when completed (both within 3 months)
Oliver McGowan Training (2025–26): claims accepted up to 20 March 2026
WHERE LDSS Applies
Eligible employers across England who:
Provide adult social care services
Employ staff directly
Maintain an up-to-date ASC-WDS account
Are CQC-registered (for Oliver’s Training)
Eligible learners include non-regulated care staff, deputy managers, registered managers and agency staff.
