Path 2 Apprenticeships

Empowering Young People for Careers in Hospitality

We’re proud to announce the launch of the Path 2 Apprenticeships programme, a dynamic, employer-led initiative designed to support young people aged 19-29 into thriving careers in the hospitality industry. This pre-apprenticeship programme is fully funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority and delivered in partnership with Compass Group UK & Ireland, HIT Training, Lifetime Training, Pathway Group, and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

'The Power of knowledge'

This innovative programme provides young people with the skills that businesses are actively seeking, ensuring participants are job-ready for the future of the hospitality sector.

Co-designed with leading employers, the training focuses on the key digital and green skills essential for today’s evolving job market.

Participants will receive support in developing their CVs, interview techniques, and gaining practical experience in a real working environment.

This fully funded training programme is free for participants, removing barriers to entry for those seeking careers in hospitality.

  • Real-World Skills: Participants will develop skills in areas highly sought after by employers, including digital proficiency and green practices.
  • Personalised Coaching and Mentoring: Throughout the programme and the first year of their apprenticeship, participants will receive coaching and support, enhancing their personal and professional growth.
  • Guaranteed Interviews: Graduates will be guaranteed an interview for an apprenticeship opportunity, where they can earn while they learn, with employers offering the National Living Wage.
  • No Exams, Just Success: There are no formal assessments, so participants can focus on learning and developing without the stress of exams.

'Heart of Birmingham'

Delivered from the iconic Millennium Point in the heart of Birmingham, Path 2 Apprenticeships offers an engaging and supportive environment to help participants succeed in their career aspirations. Upon completion, participants will be ready to pursue Level 2 or Level 3 apprenticeships in a variety of roles, preparing them for long-term, sustainable careers in hospitality.
