20-year Anniversary Celebration Sponsored

by Pathway Group

The Birmingham Youth Sports Academy was established in 2002 by Anwar Khattak as a voluntary / charity organisation which provides sports and education to children aged 6-18.

The academy this year will celebrate its 20-year anniversary, it is a tremendous success for a voluntary grassroot organisation.

BYSA has delivered several projects over the years for young people to explore their dreams and set high standards in their lives such as keeping healthy programmes, football training programmes, trips to: Manchester United, Liverpool Football, Wembley Stadium; Barcelona; Play on the Pitch at Derby County; numerous tournaments; an eleven a side team in the Central Warwickshire Sunday League.

Future ambition for BYSA for the year ahead includes progressing young people in terms of sports at a higher level and introducing additional vocational and educational trips and programmes, plus where there is demand adding other sports, and getting more involved with professional clubs.

The CEO & Co-Founder of Pathway Group in a recent meeting with the Founder Anwar Khattak discussed plans for marking its 20-year anniversary.
