The Level 1 NVQ Certificate in Beauty Therapy is a vocational qualification that will confirm your competence as an assistant junior beauty therapist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as an assistant junior beauty therapist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.
This qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as an assistant junior beauty therapist including preparing and maintaining the salon treatment work areas, effective working with clients and colleagues, taking responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety.
You will also develop your understanding and skills by selecting a number of optional specialist units which include: assisting with facial skincare services, assisting with day make-up services, assisting with nail services, assisting with salon reception duties.
