An apprentice will hold a contract of employment with one of our partner employers and will earn at least the National Minimum Wage for apprentices which currently stands at £3.50 per hour, however many of our employers pay much more than this and some on higher apprenticeships can earn up to £500 per week.
The government has stated that young people must stay in education or training until their 18th birthday. Joining an apprenticeship programme is part of this and gives young people further options rather than college, sixth form or university.
