Mohammed Arfan

Mohammed is a Vocational Tutor & Assessor, who has been part of the Pathway team for over six years. Mohammed is part of the delivery team and is one of the key members who delivers our apprenticeship qualifications. Working with learners, Mohammed ensures that each and every learner has a personalised programme, suited to meet their needs, whilst developing their skills in their preferred occupation. Although Health and Social Care is Mohammed’s forte, his experiences and previous job roles enable him to deliver qualifications in Customer Services, Business Administration and Team Leading.

Mohammed joined the team in 2011, coming from a background in teaching. As a secondary school teacher, Mohammed holds four years of experience in teaching academic subjects, up to an A-level standard. Prior to this, Mohammed’s voluntary work, in the Health and Social Care sector, has created opportunities for him to learn and develop in this field. With his on-going personal development, Mohammed is always up to date with the relevant standards, which he is keen to share with his learners.

Initially, Mohammed joined Pathways as an administrator. His passion and dedication to his job earned him the opportunity to overlook an employability project by liaising with training and funding providers. With his on-going development and ability to undertake various roles, he was soon offered the opportunity to work towards his assessor’s award – which began his journey to success.
