Kidsgrove Jobcentre recommends Pathway SkillsZone Centre, Burslem

Julie Richardson, Provision Ambassador and Universal Credit Work Coach at Kidsgrove Jobcentre Plus, in Staffordshire works closely with our Pathway SkillsZone Centre located in Burslem and recommends our services to claimants.

Friendly & helpful team

Julie finds all of the Pathway SkillsZone Team to be “very friendly and professional and are always available to discuss courses available and give feedback on individual claimants.”

Good quality courses

“The courses that Pathway SkillsZone Burslem, run are of good quality, and many claimants have expressed how happy and welcomed they feel when attending the Pathway SkillsZone Centre.”

At Pathway Group, we put the customer at the heart of our business operations, planning and decision making. Aiming to deliver a high-quality service by putting the customer at the centre of our business and believe that this is the key to ensuring long term trading relationships.

Overcoming the digital divide

“During the COVID-19 situation many claimants have not had access to the internet, however the Pathway SkillsZone Team provided paper-based learning resources, which were extremely useful to claimants and a valuable option that Work Coaches have available to help claimants move forward.”

The digital divide is the gap between people in society who have full access to digital technologies (such as the internet and computers) and those who do not. Concerns about the digital divide have been particularly acute during the COVID-19 pandemic as the internet and digital devices have played an important role in allowing people to access services, attend medical appointments and stay in touch with friends and family.

Personal development

“Many claimants attending the Pathway SkillsZone Centre, have low confidence and self-esteem, through attending these courses, claimants grow in confidence and then become more engaged about looking for employment.”

Self-confidence is understanding that you trust your own judgment and abilities, and that you value yourself and feel worthy, regardless of any imperfections or of what others may believe about you.
