
This qualification is designed to support learners to enhance and progress their IT skills, in a variety of different contexts and units available to suit learners working in different organisations, or seeking work in different areas. These qualifications can also prepare learners to progress to a higher-level IT-based qualification or apprenticeship programme.
Course Content
Learners undertaking this qualification will develop their underpinning knowledge and understanding in relation to different areas of IT, depending on the optional units they select. These may include topics such as improving productivity using IT, IT communication fundamentals, set up an IT system, using email, using the internet, word processing software and spreadsheet software.
